The links below provide access to the guidance documents for the way that Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) and the Copeland Working Group (CWG) will engage with communities in the process of site selection, investigation and construction of a Geological Disposal Facility.

A lot of reading here but these documents contain important information regarding the process by which communities can have an input into the project and the powers that the various bodies have to progress or halt activities, including the powers that are delegated to the Principle Authority (in our case Copeland Borough Council).
