The CGP Trust Fund is a charitable fund provided by local, educational book publishers based in Broughton-in-Furness and Millom.

About the Fund

Millom Without Parish Council and Whicham Parish Council manage part of the fund and award grants to community groups and charities (not individuals) for a range of project types, such as:

Environmental improvements
Community events
Maintenance of local public buildings such as churches, village halls etc.
Assisting in welfare projects for local residents
Activities of local groups (sports clubs, scouts, support groups, etc.)
Improving open access recreational facilities
Repair and improvement of local facilities and public areas

The next meeting of the trustees will be on 7 April 2021. Please have your application submitted by 31 March 2021.

Awards

At the meeting held on 1st February 2021 funds totalling £870.74 were awarded to Thwaites Village School for repairs to a wall and Millom Without Parish Council for the production of a self-guided walking route sign/map
