The NW Coastal Path
The England Coast Path is opening in sections. The open sections in the north west are described in the organisation's website. The path aims to stay as close to the coast as possible. In many places that means you will be walking right alongside the coast. In some places the path heads inland, usually only for short distances.
Many people will be aware of the recent works to improve access to the coastal path just north of our Parish and regular updates and information are published on the National Trails website (see below). For those interested in the more the overview of the coastal path or issues around it, the Government website link has been included.
