MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON MONDAY

estimates and appoint a contractor. The Chair proposed that this item be discussed

Reconfiguration of existing dwelling/cottage including new windows and external

163/22.1 Community Plan
a) Woodland Management
Contractor has confirmed that all works will be completed by end of March
b) Footpath – Rising Hill to The Green
4 contractors had been approached with 2 responding and quoting for the works.
Resolved that JW Plant Solutions Ltd would be appointed to undertake the works

c) Solar lights – Green Road
Clerk has verified with CC Highways that solar lights would be permitted as they
meet the appropriate standard.
Cllr Kitchingman to contact Prolectric to arrange a site visit

Dog warden to attend and place signage where appropriate
e) Fly Tipping
Cllr Pogrel reported the Enforcement team had attended and will be issuing fines
to the fly tippers. Enforcement team did not see dog fouling as an issue wen they
visited the areas of concern.
f) Bike Event
Cllr Calsy reported that funding for the event had been approved £661

a) Environment Group
Cllr Calsy reported that there will be a planned litter pick at Duddon Bridge
164/22 To receive reports from representatives on outside bodies
a) South Copeland Community Partnership – GDF
The Chair has been re-elected. Workshops are being arranged to assess what
has been achieved, challenges and disbenefits by building a GDF.
b) South Copeland Partnership
At the meeting there was a presentation on the new Cumberland Unitary Council
and locality working. The second half of the meeting was discussing the
proposed new art commissions and their locations. One proposed location is
potentially within the PC’s boundaries.

Cllr Wright reported after the recent road works that there are deep channels
on the sides of the road
