MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 5 DECEMBER 2022 AT THWAITES

119/22 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

Members of the public expressed concerns regarding the planning application for

change of use to Dunningwell Hall. No notification of the planning application had

been given to the 4 properties abutting the Hall boundary.

Concerns were raised skeletal application, damage to trees after the installation of

security lights along the drive. Potential future use of the property, noise and

disturbance from parties renting the Hall.

120/22 APPLICATIONS FOR DEVELOPMENT:

120/22.1 To examine applications for development and submit observations to the

Planning Authority

4/22/2444 Dunningwell Hall, The Green

Change of use from large country house (C3) to 11 bed short stay self-catering

Accommodation (C3)

The council resolved to not support this application for the following reasons:

Insufficient information on the application to make an informed decision

Incorrect/misleading information on the application regarding foul drainage/sewage

Plans provided are out of date in line with known amendments to the property

Parking spaces not identified on plan

Tree Preservation orders not identified on plan

Council to request that this application be withdrawn by the applicant and a

subsequent submitted that contains correct information and sufficient detail to allow a

considered and informed decision to be made.

Steel Framed Agricultural Building

Council resolved to support this application but expressed concerns that work had

already commenced and that this a retrospective planning application
